The collection of event icons possesses a unique feature and beauty because they carry stories from the Old and New Testaments. It can be said that most events of the New Testament, such as miracles, parables, crucifixion, and resurrection, are depicted in icons, like the Wise Son, the Magdalene at the Well, the Resurrection of Lazarus, and many other diverse subjects. It is the Gospel written with prayers, colors, and the spirituality of the priests. Grant us, O Lord, your Holy Spirit so that our eyes may turn towards you and we may see you through your word in the Holy Gospel.
