About the creator / artist
Deacon Osama Msleh was born in Damascus. He grew up in contact with the icons that fill the churches of the East. For several years he visited an iconographer hermit, in the middle of the desert in Syria to pray and learn the art of the icon.
He continued his artistic training to deepen the technique of writing the icon in France. He has worked in several countries around the world, in addition to several exhibitions in France, Italy and Norway.
About Us
These icons are made by hand on solid linden wood. Boards are gessoed and have linen under the gesso. The natural gesso contains natural products only, according to ancient ancestral techniques of iconography. Pigment colours mixed with egg, yolk and vinegar with a covered 24 Karat gold leaf background.
